3 cooking settings

When you select the HIGH or LOW setting, the slow cooker will operate in the designated setting for however long you set the timer to. Use the right setting for each meal and let every ingredient come to its full potential. After the timer hits 0, the appliance automatically switches to the KEEP WARM function that will keep your food warm for 6 hours before switching off automatically.

Extra-long cooking time

The maximum time you can set the timer to is 12 hours. The minimum time is 30 minutes. With the KEEP WARM function working for another 6 hours, the VG SC 3008 BS can operate on its own for up to 18 hours. Thanks to the extra-long cooking time, the ingredients have plenty of time to give each other a bit of their taste, creating a coherent and flavourful meal with a melt-in-the-mouth taste.

This slow cooker has a capacity of 4.5 L, which is large enough to cook a meal for up to 5 people. Ideal to prepare a nice family dinner! Cooking tips:

Ensure all ingredients are immersed in the cooking liquid but don’t overfill your slow cooker. Gently sauté the vegetables for 2-3 minutes before slow cooking. Cut root vegetables into small, even pieces and put them at the bottom, as they take longer to cook than meat. Put the slow cooker on the LOW setting as often as possible, since longer cooking times at lower heat mean that the ingredients are able to bond better, creating a wonderful fusion of flavours!
