The plates on this Ultimate Grill feature a unique DuraCeramic coating to enhance your grilling experience. It transfers heat better than a standard non-stick surface to produce faster cooking times; great for busy households. This amazing natural ceramic coating is four times more durable than standard non-stick, is scratch-resistant and won’t flake or peel. It’s also easier to clean – any residue can be simply wiped away – and it’s free from PTFE and PFOA chemicals too, for peace of mind.

Prosciutto Wrapped Chicken Serves 4
4 skinless chicken fillets, slightly flattened out to 1 inch thick.
Olive oil.
Freshly ground black pepper.
4 slices of prosciutto.
Zest of 2 lemons.
3 sprigs of fresh thyme, leaves removed and bruised.
1. Lay the slices of prosciutto onto a chopping board. Place a chicken breast on top of each so that there is sufficient to wrap around the middle part of each breast. (Don’t wrap the chicken just yet).
2. Drizzle each of the chicken breasts in a little olive oil, add some black pepper, zest of lemon and a sprinkle of the thyme leaves.
3. Wrap the prosciutto round the chicken.
4. Place the chicken onto the preheated hot grill, temperature high, with the join of the prosciutto on the underside.
5. Brush a little olive oil onto the surface of the chicken, close the lid and grill for 4-5 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
6. Remove from the grill and place onto a warm plate, allow to rest for a few minutes.
7. Slice diagonally and serve with some griddled asparagus and new potatoes, or alternatively a crispy salad.
Griddled Brioche, Warm Strawberries and Mascarpone Cream Serves 4
1 vanilla pod, seeds scraped.
2 tbsp honey.
1 orange, zest only.
400g strawberries, washed, hulled and halved.
4 thick slices of brioche bread.
Unsalted butter, softened.
100g mascarpone cheese.
100g crème fraîche.
¼ tsp vanilla extract or fresh vanilla seeds from ½ pod.
2 finely-chopped mint leaves (optional).
25g icing sugar.
1. Place the prepared strawberries onto a square of cooking foil, this needs to be big enough to form a parcel around the berries.
2. Mix the honey and vanilla seeds together and spoon over the strawberries, top with the zest and loosely seal together.
3. Place the parcel onto the preheated grill at the medium/high setting. Do not close the lid. Allow the strawberries to bubble for about 5-10 minutes, depending on the size of the berries.
4. Remove the parcel and set aside to cool slightly.
5. Add the mascarpone, crème fraîche, vanilla extract, chopped mint and icing sugar to a small bowl and mix well. Place in the fridge until required.
6. Butter the brioche on both sides and toast on the hot grill until golden and crisp. Serve immediately with a large spoonful of the warm strawberries, topped with the flavoured cream and a dust of icing sugar.
Halloumi and Vegetable Skewers Serves 4
2 medium courgettes.
1 red pepper, cut into chunks.
1 large red onion.
250g halloumi cheese (cut into 16 cubes).
16 cherry tomatoes.
1 tbsp olive oil.
2 tbsp lemon juice.
2 tsp freshly-chopped thyme leaves.
1 tsp Dijon mustard.
Pitta bread to serve.
1. Cut the courgettes into rounds and the red onion into chunks. Thread the vegetables and cheese onto 8 small skewers or 4 large ones.
2. Place the olive oil, lemon juice, chopped thyme leaves and mustard into a small bowl and mix well.
3. Brush the skewers with the marinade. Place the skewers onto the preheated grill at the medium setting. Grill until the cheese is golden and the vegetables have softened slightly.
4. Remove the skewers from the grill before adding the pitta bread to the grill to warm through. Serve the skewers drizzled with the remaining marinade and the warm pitta bread.
