The 5.5L capacity will allow you to prepare a really solid portion for your whole family and friends and proper care of the vessel will allow you to enjoy its functions for a really long time. The pot does not absorb moisture and is resistant to high temperatures. Please note: Before using the product, you must check the instructions for use and treat the product according to it. The outer dimensions of the pot are: length with handles: 400 mm. Height with lid: 146 mm. Width of the pot: 270 mm. How to use: first use: wash the container thoroughly under running warm water and then dry thoroughly, preferably with a paper towel. – Thoroughly cover the surface of the jar with a thick layer of any cooking oil to preserve it. – Burn out the vessel over a burner or in the oven at a high temperature (170-200C) for 60 minutes until part of the oil is absorbed by the porous surface of the vessel. – After cooling, the excess oil, e.g. with a paper towel. – Perform the above mentioned preservation in a well-ventilated room as the heated oil can smoke and produce an unpleasant smell. – The better the first preservation is carried out, the longer the pot will fulfil its task. After each use: wash the vessel immediately after use, but do not soak in water. – Dry the pot thoroughly and apply to a thin layer of cooking oil. – Keep the container dry and cool. Incorrect preservation of the container can cause the pot to rust. The causes of this can be a long soaking, a storage of non-dried cast iron vessels and a storage of acidic dishes in the containers. Rust marks on cast iron vessels can be removed with a steel wool or soda scourer – scrub the surface of the pot until all rust marks disappear. Then repeat all the actions mentioned in point: first use. Please note: Before and after each use, the pot must be thoroughly washed, dried and greased (spread a teaspoon of cooking oil on its inner surface). Do not leave the empty pot over a flame or heat source. Cast iron is sensitive to sudden temperature fluctuations, so heat the pot slowly so that it does not break. Do not expose it to sudden temperature fluctuations during storage. Do not pour over the heated pot with cold water – this prevents permanent damage to the pot. Do not wash the product in the dishwasher.
